A partir de hoje , será possivel experimentar gratuitamente FINAL FANTASY XIV através da Steam. Esta demo de 14 dias dá a oportunidade a novos jogadores de entrar neste mundo fantastisco de Eorzea que já conta com 2.5 milhões de jogadores.
Uma limitação do demo é que apenas se pode chegar ao nível 20 e também existiram algumas limitações de atividades in-game que estão descritas aqui.

From today, players can try out the critically acclaimed FINAL FANTASY XIV®: A Realm Reborn™ online adventure for free via Steam. The 14-day free trial gives new players an opportunity to join over 2.5 million adventurers worldwide who have already begun their journey throughout the realm of Eorzea.
By downloading the free trial via the Steam PC digital service, players can play for free for up to 14 days from account creation to a maximum level of twenty.
