O grande final do principal capitulo de Final Fantasy XIV chega hoje com o Patch 2.55 – Before the Fall

Neste Patch as forças de defesa de Ishgard veêm-se sobre ataque, conseguirá a Eorzean Alliance chegar a tempo de salvar a cidade?

Para marcar este Patch 2.55 e o final do cenário principal o produtor / director Naoki Yoshida enviou esta mensagem para todos os fans e jogadores:

“First of all, I would like to thank all the FINAL FANTASY XIV players around the world who have supported the development team in bringing the current story to its climax, as well as to the development and operations team that have worked around the clock – thank you very much! As the Patch 2.0 series comes to an end in Patch 2.55, I am very excited to see your reactions to the end of the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn scenario!”

Looking ahead to the future of FINAL FANTASY XIV, Yoshida said – “FFXIV, which started as A Realm Reborn, has evolved and grown massively in the last year and a half. These dramatic changes to the game have also been a fun and exciting experience. Even if you are away from FINAL FANTASY XIV at the moment, please enjoy the last of A Realm Reborn and look forward to a new beginning in Heavensward – which will bring the start of a new scenario and a huge volume of new content including new jobs, maps and raids, an increase of level cap, the implementation of Free Company contents and much more. The volume will be more than a brand new RPG. Thank you for all your support so far and please look forward to the updates coming in the Heavensward 3.0 series!”

Esta espetacular conclusão prepara a história para a próxima fase que será o lançamento da expansão HeavensWard marcada para 23 de Junho, para ter a acesso a ela os jogadores têm de completar a quest “Before the Dawn”.

Experience the thrilling finale of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn before the start of a new adventure!

The grand finale of the main scenario of FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™ arrives today with the release of Patch 2.55 – Before the Fall – available now for Windows PC, the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system.

In Patch 2.55 the Gates of Judgement, Ishgard’s outermost defences, now come under attack – can the Scions of the Seventh Dawn rally the Eorzean Alliance as the city’s survival hangs in the balance?

A brazen attack takes place at the Gates of Judgement. The outermost layer of protection has been dispelled, allowing the mighty dragon Vishap to land upon the far end of the Steps of Faith. Take up position alongside the Temple Knights, and defend the structure from the ravaging forces of the Horde!

To mark the arrival of Patch 2.55, and the ending of the FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn main scenario, Producer / Director Naoki Yoshida, sends a message to fans and players.

The spectacular conclusion to FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn’s current story prepares adventurers for the next phase with the release of the title’s first major expansion, HEAVENSWARD™, later this year on 23^rd June. Players will need to complete the brand new story quest “Before the Dawn”, introduced in Patch 2.55, in order to gain immediate access to the first quest of Heavensward and head out to the fabled Ishgard right on release.
